Opened in 2003, the Nasher Sculpture Center is a historical center in Dallas, Texas, that houses the Patsy and Raymond Nasher accumulation of present day and contemporary sculpture. It is situated on a 2.4-section of land site adjoining the Dallas Museum of Art in the Dallas Arts District.
In 1997, Raymond Nasher obtained a plot of land in downtown Dallas over the road from the Dallas Museum of Art and procured engineer Renzo Piano to structure the Nasher Sculpture Center. The Nasher Foundation subsidized the whole $70 million expense of structuring and developing the exhibition hall, which incorporates indoor and open air displays.
